Double-Knitting Level 1: Introduction to Double-Knitting with Alasdair Post-Quinn

Level: Intermediate

1 class: Saturday, 2/23 from 9 a.m. to noon or 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Double-knitting is a unique method of making a fabric with no “wrong” side and a built-in reversible colorwork pattern. In this workshop students will learn a specific two color cast-on, get comfortable with the techniques involved and move into colorwork. At the end of the workshop, most will have a motif swatch completed and be confident that they can tackle larger standard double-knitting projects. We are excited to be hosting such an accomplished designer, instructor, and creator of many double-knitting techniques!
